Jehst – England (Prod. By Beat Butcha)

9 Aug

“And I’ve still got love for the place that I’m livin’

But right now there aint nothin great about Britain.”

Considering what’s going on in London and Birmingham right now I think this track is quite appropriate. It comes from Jehst’s “The Dragon Of An Ordinary Family”. Powerful lyrics and a fresh beat, this is what hip-hop should be. The vocals remind me of  Akala, and also Plan B in his early days. This track is really hypnotic. It could be the backing track to today’s news reel.

“Get crushed in the rush hour, Police have got too much power and Now they move like a menace…”
